Joe Wicks “The Body Coach” will attempt to break Guinness world of Record in Dubai

Make history this Dubai Fitness Challenge with Joe Wicks, better known as The Body Coach, as he attempts to break the Guinness World Record for the largest 30-minute long, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) class. On 26 October, The best-selling author and Instagram fitness star will host the class on 26 October at Skydive Dubai, and you can get in on all the action.

Wicks currently holds the record title himself with a HIIT class of 3,804 participants he led in London in 2017 – and has now called upon the city of Dubai to be ‘In It, Together’ to beat that record.

Break a sweat and a record all at once during this intensive cardio session, which is presented by DEWA. For those new to HIIT, this exercise approach alternates between short and intense periods of anaerobic exercise with less recovery time.

The session will be moderate in intensity, with a basic level of fitness required to participate. In order to break the Guinness World Record, all participants must complete the full 30-minute workout without stopping. Participation is for people aged 18 years and above, with registration details available online.
The Dubai Fitness Challenge runs from October 18 to November 16 and calls on residents to commit to at least 30 minutes of physical activity every day for 30 days
