DIWALI 2019 is the famous festival of lights, which millions of people will be celebrating later this month.
It is a festival which originated in India thousands of years ago, with several religions observing the festival – including Sikhs, Hindus and Jains. Diwali usually occurs sometime between October and November, but the date changes every year.
The festival symbolizes the spiritual victory of good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and light over darkness. It’s celebrated by decorating the house with bright lights and candles along with exchanging of gifts.

Under the theme, ‘Make Your Diwali Brighter Than Ever,’ Dubai Festival City will showcase a first ever Elephant Parade exhibition in the Middle East on October 24, said Steven Cleaver, director, Shopping Centers Dubai, Al Futtaim Malls.
